So how do we help our digestive system to function at optimal level? When it comes to the gut biome, there is no substitute for foods you prepare yourself, so that you know what they contain.

You might note that I use Stevia and pure maple syrup as sweeteners.
Stevia doesn’t activate the pancreas, and maple syrup won”t give you a sudden insulin spike the way other sugars do. As always, moderation is the key.
